WellSpan, Johns Hopkins expand cancer partnership

York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health has extended its cancer care collaboration with Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine.

WellSpan and Johns Hopkins first established a clinical cancer care partnership in 2017, which expanded in 2021, according to an Aug. 20 news release from WellSpan.

Through a phased investment beginning this fall, patients in Pennsylvania’s Central Susquehanna Valley will gain expanded access to medical oncology and infusion services, with future plans to establish a comprehensive cancer center offering radiation oncology.
