The V Foundation for Cancer Research has granted $16.2 million in funding to researchers at 16 National Cancer Institute-designated cancer centers in the U.S. and one cancer center in Canada.
The awards are being granted through the V Foundation’s Dick Vitale Pediatric Cancer Research Fund, according to a Sept. 8 news release.
The $16.2 million is composed of three V Foundation grant programs:
- Nine All-Star Grants of $1 million over five years
- Four Translational Grants of $200,000 per year over four years
- Five V-Scholar grants of $200,000 per year for four years
