Advocate names breast cancer leader

Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health has named Sigrun Hallmeyer, MD, enterprise physician lead for breast cancer. 

Dr. Hallmeyer shared news of her appointment in an Oct. 3 LinkedIn post. 

She has been at Park Ridge, Ill.-based Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for 21 years. She has served as medical director of the hospital’s cancer survivorship center, co-director of medical research and medical director of the oncology service line.
