University of Washington School of Medicine and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, both based in Seattle, have launched a new institute dedicated to treating a rare, aggressive form of skin cancer. 

Researchers at the University of Illinois Chicago have redesigned the enzyme asparaginase for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic pediatric leukemia. Their research was published Dec. 19 in Cancer Letters.

The American Society of Cancer Oncology will honor 11 leaders in the field at the organization's annual meeting in May. 

The American Cancer Society's 2025 cancer statistics report found that while the overall cancer mortality rate continues to fall, incidence has increased across certain cancer types and demographics.

Stanford (Calif.) Medicine leaders are prioritizing interdisciplinary collaboration and integrating research with clinical practice as they develop plans to build a cancer campus.

Established in 2011, University Hospitals Connor Whole Health offers evidence-based integrative care to patients and physicians across the entire health system. Services include acupuncture, massage, art and music therapy, and yoga.
