Baptist Health Cancer Care, part of Coral Gables, Fla.-based Baptist Health South Florida, will open the Al and Jane Nahmad Women’s Cancer Center in 2027.

The center will be located inside the Keeley Pavilion on the Baptist Hospital campus in Miami, according to an Oct. 20 news release from Baptist Health.

It will house multidisciplinary clinics for breast, gynecologic and reconstructive specialists, private infusion suites, genetics and dermatology services, and prevention, survivorship, navigation and supportive care programs, the release said.

Anastasia Tousimis, MD, will serve as the center’s medical director. Dr. Tousimis is also chief of breast surgery for Baptist Health Cancer Care, deputy director of Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute and Baptist Health Cancer Care and chief medical liaison for the Memorial Sloan Kettering partnership.

Construction began in September 2024, and the building’s exterior was completed in October 2025.
