East Lansing, Mich.-based MSU Health Care, Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care and Detroit-based Karmanos Cancer Network, has integrated technology to assess patients’ risk of developing breast cancer.

The platform, called Volpara Risk Pathways, identifies patients’ individual cancer risk through a digital health questionnaire and refers them for follow-up care, such as mammograms, ultrasounds and breast MRIs, when appropriate, according to a Nov. 3 news release from MSU Health Care.

The service is available at MSU Health Care at McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.) Breast Imaging Center, McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.) Mid-Michigan Physicians Imaging Center and McLaren Greater Lansing Grand Ledge (Mich.) Radiology, the release said.

At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
