3 cancer centers recognized for person-centered care

Three U.S. cancer centers have been recognized by Planetree for providing person-centered care. 

Planetree is a nonprofit aimed at elevating the patient experience and “humanizing” healthcare, according to the organization’s website. It certifies global healthcare organizations across the care continuum for excellence in person-centered care.

Three U.S. cancer centers received Planetree’s gold-level distinction:

  1. Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia)
  2. Grady Health System Cancer Center (Atlanta)
  3. Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (Charlotte, N.C.)
