Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network has joined the Tempus TIME Network, an AI-enabled platform designed to accelerate patient access to cancer clinical trials.
The program will enable Allegheny Health Network to reduce the traditional clinical trial enrollment process from six months to a year to less than two weeks, David Bartlett, MD, chair of the AHN Cancer Institute and AHN Research Institute, said in a Dec. 29 news release.
Allegheny Health Network patients across all departments and specialties will be connected to clinical trials. The platform will screen patient data against biomarker and genomic sequencing criteria of participating trials, connecting physicians and trial sponsors in an average of 10 business days, the release said.
