Phillip Koo, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer of Santa Monica, Calif.-based Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Koo previously served as chief of diagnostic imaging and physician executive of oncology at Phoenix-based Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, according to an April 8 news release from the foundation.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to funding prostate cancer research, the release said.
