Froedtert launches 1st proton therapy facility in Wisconsin

Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Froedtert ThedaCare Health and Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin have opened Wisconsin’s first proton therapy facility.

The facility is located at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center on the Froedtert Hospital campus in Milwaukee, according to a March 27 news release from Froedtert.

Proton therapy will be available for adult patients through the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network and for pediatric patients in collaboration with Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin.
