Johnson & Johnson will build a $1 billion cell therapy manufacturing facility in Montgomery County, Pa.
The project will support more than 4,000 jobs during construction and more than 500 biomanufacturing jobs once the facility is fully operational, according to a Feb. 18 news release from Johnson & Johnson.
The facility will manufacture cancer cell therapies as well as therapies for immune-mediated and neurological diseases, the release said.
