Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute has tapped Motaz Qadan, MD, PhD, as surgeon-in-chief, according to an Aug. 19 internal announcement shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Qadan joins the cancer institute from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he most recently served as surgical director for the Mass General Cancer Center.
As part of his new role, Dr. Qadan will begin recruiting a chief of breast surgery and a chief of surgical oncology, the announcement said.
