Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham has named Chandrajit Raut, MD, as chief of the division of surgical oncology.
Dr. Raut was also appointed surgery program leader for the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute’s Sarcoma Disease Center, according to an internal announcement shared with Becker’s.
He has served as chief of the division of surgical oncology at Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital since 2019, and was appointed surgeon-in-chief and chair of the department of surgery at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, also in Boston, last year.
