Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt Cancer Center has opened an outpatient facility on its Land O’ Lakes, Fla.-based research and medical campus, Speros.
The Moffitt Speros Outpatient Center is also home to the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Proton Therapy Center, according to a Jan. 9 news release from the cancer center.
Clinicians at the outpatient facility will begin seeing patients Jan. 26 and the proton therapy center is expected to open in June.
Future planned projects and facilities at Speros are predicted to generate more than 11,000 jobs and $2.5 billion in total economic value, the release said.
