Nemours Children’s taps cancer division leader from MD Anderson

Wilmington, Del.-based Nemours Children’s has appointed Douglas Harrison, MD, as division chief of hematology, oncology, transplant and cellular therapy, as well as the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Presidential Endowed Chair.

Dr. Harrison will shape the strategy of the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders, according to a Sept. 8 news release from Nemours Children’s.

He previously served as center medical director and professor in the department of pediatrics at Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
