Kaiser Permanente to open cancer center in Hawaii

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has begun construction on a new cancer center at the Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu.

The Kaiser Permanente Cancer Center at Moanalua will be located on the first floor of the medical center and is expected to open at the end of 2027, according to a Jan. 29 news release from the health system.

Once open, the cancer center will be nearly triple the size of the medical center’s existing cancer facilities.
