Seattle-based Fred Hutch has launched a division of surgical oncology and appointed John Gore, MD, as the inaugural division director.
Dr. Gore will also serve as senior vice president at Fred Hutch, according to an April 1 post on LinkedIn.
“This new division strengthens our partnership with UW Medicine and ensures Fred Hutch has a strong academic footprint across all three pillars of cancer care: medical, radiation and surgical oncology,” the post said.
