Oct. 14, Watford City, N.D.-based McKenzie Health opened the Regional Cancer Care + Prevention Center.
The facility will serve patients in western North Dakota and eastern Montana, according to a Sept. 23 news release from McKenzie Health.
The center will provide medical oncology, hematology, chemotherapy and infusion therapies, diagnostic services and supportive care. It also includes an on-site laboratory, satellite pharmacy and Renewal Garden.
Led by medical oncologist and hematologist Chad Pedersen, MD, the center is supported by more than 50 physicians and 25 advanced practice providers, the release said.
