Columbus-based Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute has appointed Neil Hayes, MD, deputy director.
Dr. Hayes was also appointed director of the Institute for Precision Cancer Medicine, according to a Sept. 4 LinkedIn post from W. Kimryn Rathmell, MD, PhD, CEO of OSUCCC-James.
Dr. Hayes previously served as director of the Center for Cancer Research, chief of hematology and oncology, and the Van Vleet Endowed Professor of Medical Oncology at Memphis-based University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
He will join OSUCCC-James Sept. 14, the LinkedIn post said.
