Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke’s University Health Network has opened a theranostics center at the health system’s Anderson Campus in Easton, Pa.

The new center features four infusion bays and is co-located with St. Luke’s nuclear medicine department, according to an Oct. 22 news release.

St. Luke’s Theranostics Center currently serves patients with low-grade neuroendocrine tumors, prostate cancer and certain thyroid cancers. The program will continue to expand services as new therapies gain FDA approval.

The center is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of clinical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, radiopharmaceutical therapy specialists, imaging technologists and registered nurses, the release said.

At the Becker's Perioperative Summit, taking place September 14–15 in Chicago, perioperative leaders and healthcare executives will focus on improving operating room efficiency, enhancing patient safety, optimizing staffing and driving innovation across surgical services.
