Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s has named Julia Meade, MD, executive director of the hospital’s Blood Disorders and Cancer Center.
Dr. Meade previously served as director of the Pediatric Cancer Predisposition and the Neurofibromatosis Oncology programs at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, according to a Sept. 1 news release from WVU Medicine.
The Blood Disorders and Cancer Center at WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s is the largest pediatric cancer program in West Virginia, the release said.
